NOTARY PUBLIC - New Castle County Prothonotary's Requirements
Resident notaries living in and nonresident notaries working in New Castle County must register their Notary Commission with the New Castle County Prothonotary's Office by either appearing at the office in person, or by mailing in a 5" x 8" index card with the following information:
Name
Address
Telephone Number
Date of Appointment
Length of Term
Signature
The notary must provide the Prothonotary with either a copy of their receipt from the Recorder of Deeds Office or a photocopy of their commission.
