Kids of all ages will enjoy a look back at the commemorated event of the Louisiana Purchase Exposition - better known as the 1904 World's Fair - during Delaware State Museums' "1904…Meet Me At The Fair" celebration.

Delaware State Museums' Dover Sites public program will kick off from 9 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Saturday, December 11, at Museum Square, Dover.

Museum Square, consisting of the Johnson Victrola Museum, the Museum of Small Town Life, and the Delaware Archaeology Museum, will each offer a glimpse at marvels featured in the original historic event.

Fair goers will experience a look inside stunning facts and trivia; engulf in musical and historical atmospheres, and witness the splendor of this nostalgic, centennial celebration. The kick-off event will offer hands-on demonstrations and giveaway items for the entire family.

Admission to the fair and museums are free. Donations are accepted and appreciated. All ages are encouraged to attend.

Museum Square is open from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. The "1904…Meet Me At The Fair" public program will continue through Friday, December 31, 2004.
