Delaware Division of the Arts The Division of the Arts promotes and develops artistic opportunities throughout the state. Together with its advisory body, the Delaware State Arts Council (DSAC), the Division administers grants and programs that support arts programming, educate the public, increase awareness of the arts, and integrate the arts into all facets of Delaware life.
Historical & Cultural Affairs The Division of Historical and Cultural Affairs preserves Delaware’s heritage and showcases the historic legacy of our state. Through active historic preservation efforts, engaging educational programs, and stimulating exhibits, the Division is committed to enhancing Delaware’s quality of life by helping people connect with those aspects of our past that have made this state what it is today.
Delaware Division of Libraries The Delaware Division of Libraries provides leadership and support for the timely development of Delaware’s libraries, to ensure convenient access to, and encourage use of current information resources and reading material.
Delaware Public Archives The mission of the Delaware Public Archives is threefold: to identify, collect, and preserve public records of enduring historical and evidential value; to ensure access to public records for present and future generations of Delawareans; and to advise and educate in the creation, management, use, and preservation of public records. The Archives holds more than 95,000 cubic feet of government records and historical documents.
