Pursuant to Article XVI, Section 1 of the Delaware Constitution, the Secretary of State has published six proposed constitutional amendments approved by both chambers of the 151st Delaware General Assembly. The proposed constitutional amendments were published in July 2022 in local newspapers of all three counties.

Amendments must receive a two-thirds majority vote in both the Senate and House of Representatives. Two consecutive Delaware General Assemblies must approve any proposed constitutional amendments for them to pass. These proposed amendments will become part of the Delaware Constitution if a “second leg” of the exact same amendment is approved by state legislators elected in the upcoming general election scheduled for November 8, 2022.
